Bruce's obituary

Bruce Behre III passed away on December 18, 2021 after an extended illness. Bruce was born in April 4, 1977 in Chattanooga, TN.
Bruce is preceded in death by his grandparents; Benford Bruce and Susie Behre; and Roy D. Stokes. He is survived by his children, Victoria and Alex; his father, Benford Bruce Behre II (Margie); his mother, Darlene Stokes; brothers, Jeff McDaniel and Steve McDaniel; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Bruce was a Christian and his faith in Christ sustained him during some difficult times in his life. Bruce was a member of Beech Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In 2015, Bruce re-dedicated his life to God while attending Stanley Hieghts Baptist Church.
Bruce lived most of his life in Manchester, TN where he graduated from Coffee County Central High School. He attended Middle TN State University. He was employed by Walmart as a store planning supervisor and as management working in several middle TN locations. As his health declined and he was no longer able to work, Bruce (who loved woodworking) began to carve specialized walking canes and hiking sticks. He used his talent to make some very unique and personalized canes.
Bruce was an excellent cook who enjoyed being creative in the kitchen and especially loved preparing some of his specialties for Victoria and Alex.
Bruce loved music and enjoyed playing guitar. His favorite sport was football and he was an avid Alabama fan, rarely missing a game.
Bruce was known as a thoughtful, carinig, respectful young man. A 'Simple Man' who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
