It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Ben Salden, who left us far too soon on August 17, 2023. Born on July 21, 1952, Ben was a beacon of joy and warmth in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him. His personality radiated humor, fun, and a profound generosity that touched everyone around him.

A beloved son,father, brother, friend,as well as good  husband and cherished Opa, Ben's spirit was defined by his selflessness. His innate instinct to lend a hand to anyone in need was a testament to his kind heart. His laughter was infectious, his humor unique, and his love for his family was unequivocal.

Ben's life was enriched with simple yet profound lessons. Among them was his firm belief in the adage, "Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." He spent his life not merely giving to others, but equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to support themselves.

One of his most noteworthy accomplishments was his family – his children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. The love he had for his family was immeasurable, and the pride he felt for each of their accomplishments, big or small, was undisputedly evident.

As we bid farewell to our dear Ben, we want to remember him not only as a wonderful man, but as the loving father, supportive brother, steadfast friend, and doting Opa he was. Let us honor his life, celebrate his unique spirit, and carry forward the lessons he left us with – to be kind, to be generous, and to help others when they are in need. Ben Salden will be greatly missed, but his legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in our hearts forever.
