Belinda's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Belinda Hamilton (nee Huffman), who was born on May 12, 1957, and passed away on May 16, 2025. Beloved wife of Robert Hamilton, she will be greatly missed by him and her children, Heather and Jimmy Waddle, Jennifer Pritchett, and Christopher Pritchett.
Belinda's vibrant spirit will also be remembered by her sister, Barbara Winkle, her brother, Gene Huffman, and their spouses, Austin Winkle and Roxy Huffman. Her nieces, Melissa Cook, Jessie Cronley, and Tami Stevens, as well as her nephew, Steven Huffman, also mourn her loss.
Belinda's love and care extended to her grandchildren, Christian and Beau Waddle, Calvin and Ashlynn Pritchett, and Chance Clark, whom she adored. They are left with beautiful memories of their grandmother, whose heart was always full of love for them. Belinda will be greatly missed by several great-nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Gene Huffman, her mother, Frances Huffman, her grandmother, Bertha Street, and her grandfather, Rollie Street. Their loving influence played a significant role in her life and helped shape the compassionate person she was.
Known as a bubbly, friendly, caring, funny, and dandy person, Belinda brought joy and laughter to the lives of all those she encountered. A devoted Seahawks fan, she loved playing Yahtzee and going for walks. She especially loved spending time with friends and family, her favorite recreational activity.
Belinda was a dedicated caregiver, spending 30 years working at the hospital. Her beautiful children and her enduring legacy of love, faith, and kindness are among her most significant accomplishments. A lover of animals, she was particularly passionate about the ASPCA, and she extended her caring nature to her sweet pups, who will greatly miss her.
Her favorite color, purple, reflected her zest for life. As we remember and celebrate Belinda's extraordinary life, her friends, family, and loved ones will continue to carry her legacy of love and kindness.
