Belinda's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Belinda, who left this world on January 5, 2025, at the age of 49 after a courageous but short battle with renal cancer. Born on April 18, 1975, Belinda was a beacon of light and joy to all who knew her.
Belinda's life was defined by her infectious laughter, boundless warmth, and an extraordinary ability to bring people together. She was a breast cancer survivor, having triumphed over the disease for more than a decade before facing her final battle with grace and resilience. Her strength and determination were an inspiration to all, teaching us the value of love and laughter even in the face of adversity.
Belinda is deeply missed by her loving family, including her devoted husband, Al Gutierrez; her sons, Miguel Gonzalez and Mateo Gonzalez; her daughters, Melinda Gonzalez, Miranda Gonzalez, Alana Valdez, and Amaya Valdez; and her ten cherished grandchildren. She also leaves behind her mother, Emelia Martinez; her brothers, Eddie Martinez, Ruben Martinez, Timothy Martinez, Lee Martinez, and Jimmy Martinez; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Asael Portillo; her brother, Henry Martinez; and her sister, Lucinda Delgado.
Belinda's legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering strength will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her laughter and love will forever echo in our memories. As we gather to celebrate her remarkable life, we honor the incredible woman who brought so much happiness to the world. May she rest in peace and soar among the angels. Belinda, your spirit will never be forgotten. We love you always.
