Belen Eloisa's obituary

Heaven has gained a new angel! Belen Eloisa A. Stewart, age 60, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2026 surrounded by love and family. She leaves behind a legacy of unwavering strength, enduring love, and selfless dedication.

Belen was born in the Philippines and came to the United States at the age of 6 with her parents: Dr. Jesus Arcelona and Dr. Milenda Arcelona as well as her siblings. She found the love her life in high school and they built a beautiful family and life together. Her dedication can not only be seen in her marriage but also in her 30+ year tenure working for United Health Care (Optum). In her free time, some of the activities that made her smile included gardening, fishing, and connecting with friends and family over a good meal. She will forever be remembered for her contagious laughter and ever glowing smile by everyone who encountered her.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Scott; her two children: Nikki (Julian) and Ricco (Sophie); and her 4 siblings: Emmanuel (Dinah) Arcelona, Melvin (Kim) Arcelona, Ann-Loreta (Mark) Maxey, and Agnes Jocelyn (Craig) Stupp. She is preceded in death by her 2 grand-dogs: Sephora Lexus "Lexi" and Bobo. Her family will continue to honor her legacy through the love she instilled in them.

We invite all who knew her to join us for a Celebration of Life on Friday, May 8 at Woods Fort Golf Course in Troy, Mo where we will gather to honor her, share memories, and find comfort in one another.

Though she is no longer physically with us, the impact she made will be felt for generations to come.
