We have lost a beautiful life here on earth and heaven has gained a loving angel protected in God's arms. Rest in peace precious Becky.
I am so sorry for your loss -- and for the world's loss. Becky welcomed us to the neighborhood all those many years ago. Our kids all grew up together. We all grieve her passing. Jonathan said he will be there with you on Saturday. We all wish we could be. Peace and God's blessings keep you all at this sad time. Love you all. Mike and Bev, Aaron, Sarah, David, and Jonathan Timmer

My most unforgettable and favorite memory — I was lucky enough to be taught by Mrs. Elbert for both fourth & seventh grades. In fourth grade, she team-taught with Mrs Jackson, where we would spend time with both each day for different subjects. Now, one day, after lunch, she was running a little late, so both classes got shuffled into Mrs. Jackson’s room to wait. Suddenly, after a few minutes, Mrs. Elbert busted through the door singing and dancing to the refrain of “Ms. Jackson” —which was a fairly popular song at the time. “I’m sorry Ms. Jackson, oh!, I am for real!”. Granted, I probably can’t recall what we actually learned that day, but there are few educators as dedicated to their craft as Mrs. Elbert was; I was lucky to have been taught by her not once, but twice! The world has lost a remarkable person and she will be missed!
I’m not sure if this is the place to share this, but, here goes. Our first night in Aspen, getting ready for bed, Becky had a panic attack. I started talking to her about what had her anxious. Two things, first, her separation from Craig. Since being diagnosed, she hadn’t been that long without him by her side. Second, if she died while we were there, I would have to deal with that. The beauty in this story is her love and need for her soulmate, her husband, her strength. Second, still showing her kind generous heart, in worrying about ME, it was talks like this during our week trip to Aspen that are forever in my heart. She is The Flower that Shattered the Stone.

16 yrs ago during Cub Scout camp i was volunteering and met Becky. She was very kind and so much fun. One of my most favorite memories of Becky, is a simple one. I didn’t know her that well at that time. I had to take my baby with me. I didn’t have a sitter. Nikolas was maybe 3 or 4 months old. Only in a diaper and wanted to be held the whole time. Guess who volunteered to help hold him...yes Becky! Without hesitation she jump for a chance. Between me, my mother and Becky. That day went by so quickly. What’s ironic, she had that some baby, 12 yrs later at Waller jr high! Becky even told him, I changed your butt! The face Nikolas had was priceless. I smiled and was amazed she remembered him! Becky’s heart was so huge and loving! I appreciate your family for sharing her with us!
