Beatrice's obituary

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our mother, Beatrice "Bea" Karrer, a cherished daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. Beatrice was born in Indio California to Cristina and Felipe Torres on September 14, 1966. She grew up in the Coachella Valley and moved to Oak Hills in 2011 after meeting her husband Kevin. They vacationed often and loved to go to yard sales every weekend. They loved drinking cocktails, playing pool, and dancing in the LR (Living Room).

They built their life together and Kevin always made sure our mom was taken care of until his passing in 2020.  She was happy. We are truly grateful for that time in her life.

Beatrice was a free spirit, she lived life on her terms. She was a social butterfly with an energetic personality. She had many friends that loved her.  She loved music and working on DIY projects. She loved her dogs and chickens. She loved gardening, kickboxing, running, and of course shopping.

Beatrice is survived by her loving children, Yvonne, Michael, and Chelsey. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren, Anna, Donnie, and Enzo, Juelz and Ayva, Amoriah, Michael, Amaris, and Amaya. Beatrice's spirit will no doubt live on through each and every one of them, with her creativity and witty personality.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Karrer, her sister, Martha Velasquez, and her parents, Cristina and Felipe Torres.

A funeral mass will take place on June 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help and reception to follow at Rancho Marin. We invite all who knew and loved her to attend and share their memories of her unique spirit.

As we mourn the loss of our mom Beatrice, we also celebrate her life, her spirit, and the love she brought to us all.  She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Rest in eternal peace, Mom.
