Bazyli Pawluczuk, age 74, passed away in Montreal on September 11, 2019. Bazyli was born on January 9, 1945 in Poland and came to Canada as an immigrant in 1983. Bazyli lived in Ottawa, and then moved to Sherbrooke before settling in Montreal.

Bazyli is survived by his wife, Krystyna, his daughter, Angela, his son, David, his daughter-in-law, Marija, and his two grandsons, Jaxen and Gabriel. Bazyli is also survived by his only brother, Anatol Pawluczuk and his family who live in Poland.

After completing a Ph.D. in Genetics and moving to Canada, Bazyli conducted research for the Canadian Government within Agriculture Canada.

Bazyli was the Pastor of Slavic churches in Ottawa and Montreal throughout his life.

Bazyli devoted his life to God and lived his life in the service of others.
