He attended Curry College, where he laid the educational foundations for his future successes. Barry was a prominent entrepreneur, owning a dress manufacturing company that specialized in missy and plus-size beaded and sequin evening wear. His designs graced stages from the Miss America pageant to Hollywood, dressing celebrities and bringing joy and elegance to many.

Barry's personal hobbies included golf, where he found both challenge and relaxation. He was also a fan of old movies and TV shows, often sharing this passion with his loved ones during family gatherings.
