My dad was a man of few words, but underneath all that sternness and discipline you know you were loved. I will miss him but I know and find consolation knowing he's in a better place and that one day I will see him again and we will all be happy and full of love and joy in heaven.

Barry was a kind man. In 1984 while building my house Barry loaned me his van to carry material. He later sold me at a nominal cost. I will always remember this act of kindness as the loan of the van was invaluable.

I was honored to have worked as executive secretary for Barrington Elgin Forrest from 1990 to year 2000, at Life of Jamaica (LOJ/HWT) office where he was Senior Branch Manager. Under his distinguished leadership the office was built and shaped into the LOJ "university." He was an exceptional motivator and well respected and admired for all his achievements. Above all I personally admired Mr. Forrest for his genuine concern for others; his kindness to all; and how he had positively influenced many lives throughout the years.. I have been blessed with the opportunity to visit with the Forrest family after his retirement, and to this day, I feel like an adopted member.

Mr. Forrest will be truly missed, but his legacy lives on in our hearts. My deepest sympathies and prayers go to his most loving and committed wife, "Meg;" to Danielle, Keisha, other siblings, and family members. God's blessings for continued peace and comfort throughout this time of bereavement.
Lovingly, Sylma Tulloch-Stinson
We send our deepest condolences to the Forrest and Ramsey families. Pappi Forrest, what we called him, was a kind and gentle man. Quiet, but always smiling. We will miss him greatly, but look forward to being reunited with him in his new heavenly home. To Meg, Keish, Dani and Tom, stay encouraged and hold fast to all the memories and Pappi's legacy that will be with you now and for generations to come. Love, The Dingle Family
