Background
My mom lived with heart disease for years. I know that if she could have changed anything, it would have been her health. She fought a long battle not only with heart disease but with crippling athritis, bone spurs and more. I know that her trying to regain her health meant so much because she tried so hard to quit the "drug" that ultimately took her....smoking cigarettes. Sadly, she was trapped in the cycle of giving it up and running back to it. Mom, in your honor, any contributions made can go to the American Heart Association. There is so much more research and advancements available that could have not only helped saved you but also others.
