Barbara Ann Vollberg, also known as Meme or Barb, passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 86 in Dover, Delaware. She was born on August 26, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois. Barbara was the daughter of Jesse Marion Boldt and Blanche Mae Graham Vollberg, Mother of Timothy Land and Deborah(Michael) Faulkner, Grandmother of Amber (James) Maust, Ryan Pegram and Amanda (Richard) True, and Great Grandmother of three beautiful great grandbabies; Madison, Ryker and Ashlynn.

As a beloved member of her community with active involvement at the Frederica Senior Center, a prior member of the junior board at Kent General Hospital, and prior member of the Red Hat Society for several years, she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Barbara moved to Delaware from California in 2005 to be with her daughter and grandchildren after retiring from MBM Food Service with 20 years of service.

She was dedicated to donating to several charities including St. Jude, Vietnam Veterans of America, and the Covenant home for homeless children.

A memorial service will be held at Old City Cemetery in Lynchburg, Virginia on Saturday, May 11, 2024 where her ashes will be scattered along the scatter garden where her sister and brother in law were laid to rest.
