Barbara's obituary

Barbara Annette Coulter Tudor
1937 - 2021

Barbara Annette Coulter Tudor died on June 5, 2021. She was born in Seattle, Washington, and as a child moved to California. She attended Fresno State University where she was an active member of the Delta Gamma Sorority, and from where she graduated with a B.A. of Education. She and Max R. Tudor met at Fresno State University, later married, and together raised three children while living in California, Mexico, and Spain. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her children, playing bridge competitively, cooking, entertaining, and painting. While in Mexico and Spain, Barbara was an active member of the American Women’s Club and of the Junior League. Barbara was the daughter of Clarence Alexander and Bernice Loretta Coulter of California, and is survived by her elder sister, Marilyn Margaret Newman. She leaves behind her loving husband Max, three children Juli, Patricia and husband Robert Chouinard, and Timothy and wife Amely Robles, eleven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on June 30th, at 11:00 A.M., in Palmetto Bay, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Barbara’s favorite charities, Wounded Warriors, and Shriner’s Hospital. Barbara was 84 years old.

They are not long, the days of wine and roses:
Out of a misty dream
Our path emerges for a while, then closes
Within a dream.
