Barbara's obituary

  • Barbara Theriot, 78, of Ragley, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at her residence on September 29, 2021. Barbara was born on October 27, 1942 to Louis and Eula Mae Courmier. Barbara enjoyed attending her grand-children's ball games, working in her garden, cooking food for her loved one's, spending time outdoor's, watching game shows on television, and so much more with her Family and Grandchildren. She is survied by her husband, Martin Theriot, Jr.; children, Christopher Manuel (Kim) and Charles Manuel (Cyndy); stepchildren, Agnes Boudin (Keith), Tina Horn (Ernie), Karen Deshotel, Michelle Guidry (Ricky), and Martin Theriot, Jr. (Anna); 18 grandchildren; and 31 great grandchildren. Barbara is proceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Preston Manuel; daughter, Christine Manuel; Charles Manuel Jr.; and her beloved parents. Barbara's funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Tuesday, October 5th, at 11AM. Rev. Wayne LeBleu will officiate. Blain and Chloe Crochet will hold a song (Different by Micah Tyler) for her beloved heart and family. Burial will take place at Prien Lake Memorial Park Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff, Monday from 4PM until 8PM with a rosary being recited at 6PM. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, October 5th, from 10AM until the start of the service.
