Barbara was a woman of simple pleasures. She loved to savor her favorite foods like pea salad and orange chicken. Nothing brought more joy to her day than sipping on Coca Cola or coffee while enjoying her favorite TV shows, including True Crime shows and C.S.I. Barbara enjoyed playing Dominoes and Spades, working crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and she loved going to yard sales, enjoying time outside, and cooking. Her favorite way to exercise was swimming, and she found solace in the beauty of nature, particularly shades of green and orange.
Barbara's impact on those around her was profound. She instilled a sense of kindness and morality in all her loved ones. Her daughter beautifully encapsulated her influence by saying "My mother gave me my roots and my wings. She gave me the fire in my sails. She showered me with wisdom, the ability to know right from wrong, and the moral compass to strive for what I believe in at all costs. I am privileged to carry her lessons with me."
Barbara's legacy will undoubtedly live on through the lessons she imparted and the love she shared. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
