Smith, Barbara Jean aged 83 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away Tuesday October 10, 2023. She was born February 16,1940 in Xenia, Ohio to Milton Parks and Maude Brittingham. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and her adopted parents; Marion and Charlotte Demory. She is survived by her children, Chris, Randy, Steve and Tim. Also surviving are several grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

One of many things Barbara liked to do was cheer people up and help them to see the brighter side of life. Her witty sense of humor, wisdom, and magnetic positivity made her the amazing rock of her family. Even at the age of 83 years old, she refused to be called grandma. She was known to everyone as "Mamaw".

Barbara was a member of the Redemption Christian Tabernacle and a devoted servant to the Lord, Jesus Christ. Her hobbies included building and remodeling, watching HGTV, and spending time with her family. Barbara’s pride and joy was her 17-year-old dog, Skeeters. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

A celebration of her life will be held at her home, 6035 East State Route 571, Tipp City Ohio 45371 on Sunday October 22nd at 2pm.
