Barbara Showalter was born on October 13, 1938 in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. She was born to Alvin and Margaret Showalter. Barb had two sisters, Ann and Mary Agnes, who proceeded her in death. She is survived by: her son James, her daughter-in-law Tracy, her grandchildren Emily and Nicholas, her nieces Pam, Carolyn, and Julie, her nephew Joe, her dog Honey, and all of her beloved friends. One of Barb's many joys in life was her job as a school teacher. Barb had a passion for her involvement at her home parish, Saint Francis Cabrini. Her faith and spirit were unbreakable, and she lived every day with purpose. Barb was happiest when she was outside, helping God make things grow. Now she can tend to His garden.
