Barbara Received her Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of New Mexico, Cum Laude in 1979 and simultaneously received her Masters Degree, Clinical Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University the same year. Barbara continued her private counseling until 2021, when she retired.
Barbara was always the voice of reason, and the best friend anyone could have as she gave freely her psychological and nutritional skills to enhance her friend's lives. She touched so many lives and will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
In October 2022, her health began to decline and on January 22, 2023 she passed away from liver cancer, which was never detected earlier dur to her diligent organic diet and use of all natural supplements. No service was held at Barbara's request. If you'd like to make a contribution, please donate to your local animal humane / rescue non kill organization as Barbara loved pets and personally fostered dogs and cats when their owners were unable to tend to them.
