Barbara Ann Potter (Ellingham), 72, Homosassa, Florida, entered into God’s Kingdom on August 9, 2022, surrounded by family.
"Barb" was born to Charles and Bettylou Ellingham on July 20, 1950 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. She is one of 7 children. When she was younger, her favorite activities were roller and ice skating and camping.
She attended Tennessee Temple University. Barb was a loyal servant to God, first and foremost. She loved and cared for her family and the church. She served as director of Awana and Sunday School for many years. Throughout her life she was a beloved member and supporter of First Baptist Church of Westwood Lake, Miami, Faith Baptist Church, Homosassa, and Kerwin Baptist Church, North Carolina.
Barb joins her parents, daughter, Christy Dunn, daughter-in-law, Sherry Dunn, and sister, Patricia Sickler, in Heaven. She was loved very much and will be missed terribly.
She is survived by many loving family members including her faithful husband of 35 years, David Potter Sr, children Allen (Theresa) Dunn, Dunnellon, Brian (Pamela) Dunn, Homosassa, Craig (Lydia) Dunn, Homosassa, Daniel Dunn Sr, Homosassa, Kimberly Dunn, Hernando, Karen Cobb, Citrus Springs, Buddi (Kris) Vanderpool, Titusville, David Potter Jr, Netherlands, Ann (Mike) Koby, Kodiak, 16 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and siblings Beverly (Mike) Mohme, twin sister, Bettylou (Bill) Scott, brother-in-law Herb Sicker, Linda (Rigo) Garcia, Chuck Ellingham Jr, and Kenny (Paula) Ellingham.
