Barbara “Babs” Rose (Pilger) Myers passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord February 7, 2024, at Claridge Healthcare Center, Lake Bluff, IL, formerly of Norristown, PA and Berwyn, PA. She was born October 24, 1929, daughter to immigrants Albert Pilger, Jr. and Barbara K (Kersch) of Philadelphia, PA. She married William “Bill” E Myers and together they had two sons.

Barbara or Babs had a deep love for God. She read her Bible and prayed for her family regularly. She shared her faith during her life’s walk.

Barbara is survived by her son, John E Myers of Sudlersville, MD (wife, Cora); Daughter-in-law Karin Myers of Scottsville, NY; five grandchildren and spouses, Andrea Myers Lee (husband Sam), Christine Myers Hedger (husband Nathan), Krista Myers Sweetser (husband Daniel), Carrie Myers (fiancé Troy Corbin), David Myers; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband William E Myers; son David W Myers; and her three sisters.

Interment will be the family plot, Northwood Cemetery, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
