Obituary
Dr. Barbara (Silvestri) Monstavicius passed on Aug 19 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She died in her home in Incline Village with her family at her side.
Barbara was born in Chicago, went to medical school at University of Illinois and University of Iowa, and then settled in San Francisco where she worked as a successful Ophthalmologist and eye surgeon.
Barbara is survived by her husband Algerd, son Dion, and 3 loving grandchildren.
