The President, Trustees and staff of the Village of Waterford extend our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Barb.  She is a lovely soul, inside and out, and a joy to work with!  Her family, as well as all of her extended "family" of friends and past co-workers will miss her deeply.

My condolences to Barb's family. I first met Barb at Raymond School, and like with her sister Kathy, we were instant friends.  I was honored she trusted me with many chapters of her book, and I pay her words are one day shared for all. She is an inspiration in so many ways.  Her love of literature, fierce political advocacy, joyful light, unshakeable strength,  and especially her genuine heart are what I will forever be grateful for. I will hold on to those memories for the rest of my life and try to emulate for others what she so freely gave to all of us lucky enough to know her.  My love goes out to Barb’s family. Whenever we met, she never missed an opportunity to share her pride and love for you all. May you carry her with you always. Sincerely, Stacy Stock

I will always remember Barb as a happy, cooler, beautiful older sister of my next door neighbor friend. I think of her and smile and feel blessed the world got to know her. Her smile literally lit up the room.

Barb was our cousin-in-law by marrying our cousin Jerry. She fit in right with the family. Barb was a good hostess in her home, and made sure that you were nice to the cats. It was enjoyable to go out to a restaurant or a bar for a beer.  Lots of sunshine and joy around her. One Life Touches So Many. Rest in Peace. You are loved and cherished cousin.  Memory Eternal.

I'm so very sorry for your loss.  Barb was so sweet and caring, at the same time being loyal and fierce. So many good memories of her.  I will always treasure the laughter when she and Kathy would visit with my Mom in the living room years ago, and our later get togethers at my Dad's kitchen table.  I imagine the homecoming she received in heaven and everyone anticipating when we will all be together again, and I smile.
