Barbara’s life was one of unwavering devotion — to her family, her friends, and the many lives she touched with her warmth, strength, and grace. She was the beloved wife of Craig Steeves, with whom she shared a deep and enduring bond. Together, they built a life rich with love and resilience. She was a proud and loving mother to Brandon Shy and Craig Steeves, and a joyful grandmother to Hayden, Cassidy, and Mason Steeves, each of whom brought her immeasurable pride and happiness.

She was also a treasured sister to Christine Gravel and Maryann Saxton, and a loyal friend to many. Known for her hardworking spirit and ability to bring joy even in difficult times, Barbara carried herself with humor, kindness, and compassion. Though she faced significant health challenges, she remained a pillar of strength — courageous, loving and selfless to the very end.

Barbara will be remembered not only for her devotion to family but also for her big heart and fun-loving nature. Her laughter, her care, and her unwavering support will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in those who were blessed to know her.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience. May she rest in peace, held forever in our hearts.
