Barbara's obituary
Barbara Jean Mangam, age 76 of Spring Valley, New York, passed away on August 12, 2025, due to natural causes.
Barbara was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up in Ridgewood, NJ. She attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel Elementary School and Ridgewood High School. She was the daughter of the late James and Jean Mangam. She loved being a Patient Advisory Aid at Helen Hayes Hospital in West Haverstraw, NY. She was also a proud member of LPA.
Barbara will be remembered as a devout caregiver of her pets and an advocate for disability rights. Barbara’s warm spirit will be fondly missed by her community and family.
