Barbara's obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Linton, a remarkable woman, who left an indelible imprint on all who knew her. Barbara was born on October 22, 1951, and gracefully transitioned from this life on August 3, 2024.

Barbara was the matriarch of a beautiful and loving family. She is survived by her children, AJ Stetz, Kelly Stetz, Jaime Stetz, Melissa Ostrow, Elizabeth Diaz, Sara Ceran, and David Ceran. She was predeceased by her loving husband, John Linton. Barbara's vibrant spirit lives on through her grandchildren, Brandon, Josh, Jenna, Kaitlynne, Jozlon, Olivia, Bella, Ramon, Holly, Sam, Matthew, Jacob, Lily, and Liam.

A lover of Stephen King novels and Cher's music, Barbara's interests were as wide-ranging as her personality. She was known for her love of sewing, crafts, and writing. Her personality was a vibrant mix of love, sass, fun, stubbornness, and silliness. She always encouraged others to live life without regrets, never caring about what others thought. Her greatest accomplishment was her children, to whom she dedicated her life. Having written not long after her diagnosis: "My children make me so proud as they each progress to live a better and happy life."

She was known for her unique sassy quips, like "Sure hun, ten or twenty of them", which will continue to bring joy and laughter to her loved ones. For those who really knew her, she was not the best with money management, but she always seemed to find a way. In her own words, "I need to pray for help with finances - I need to manage and save but I'm still drawn by stuff".

Barbara's life was a testament to her belief in living life to the fullest, never holding back, keep fighting the good fight, and always being true to oneself. Her joy, strength, and loving spirit will forever resonate with her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Barbara Linton's legacy of love, care, and creativity will indeed continue to inspire many generations.

"Things can only go up from here - thank you Heavenly Father for life. In Jesus name, Amen." - Barbara Linton
