After reading Barbara’s original obituary written by a friend, it seems 30 years were left out.

When Barbara and Jack left Iowa for California 60 years ago, Barbara left behind 5 young children, Danny (died honorably in Vietnam), Hank, Pattisue, Chuck and David. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren that she never had the pleasure of knowing. In fact, it wasn’t until a few years ago that her children knew she was alive. After decades of searching, her two sisters visited her. After, Sue said no further communication would be allowed by Barbara’s sisters or even her children. As the only daughter of Barbara’s only daughter, I’d like to say, Barbara, not only left behind a legacy of hurt and unanswered questions, but also a wonderful and loving family. Barbara, you missed out!
