Always find a way to add joy.…
Always find a way to add joy. Decorating the Christmas tree was always fun with Mom and Dad. Silliness was bound to happen!
My condolences go out to her friends and family. She was dearly loved and my  memory of her was her kindness, generosity and love to many!

I don't remember when I actually met Barbara for the first time, but she was adjacently part of my life since freshman year in college. Every time I did get to visit in person or speak with her, she always treated me almost as another daughter. I always loved speaking with her about her care for nature and animals. I still remember the wonderfully loving note she hand wrote to congratulate me on the birth of my son. We were all so lucky to have her joy and love in our lives. Sending all her loved ones peace, joy and many happy memories.

Hi I am Bryson Barbra's grandson she was loving caring and even when she was in the nursing home she was still loving and caring going down to north Carolina  for a few weekends was nice but I wish I didn't gave school so I could be down there everyday too see her.
My name is Libby (Weightman)  Rhodes. Barbara and I met in high school at Neshaminy HS. Dottie Foley was another close friend in school we all we pals and were always together. I lost touch with both of them after I married in 1968. I live in Florida now. Barbara was the sweetest person I have ever known!!! It does not surprise she had many people who loved her! May she rest in peace with our Lord and I cannot wait to see her in Heaven!

After 37 years of knowing your Mom, I can tell you 4 things for certain:

1. She loves the shit out of your dad.

2. She loves the shit out of her children.

3. She loves the shit out of her family.

4. She never judged me for cursing....

I love her!!!

Barb was a dear friend and we shared our lives for more than 40 years filled with prayers,  seasoned  with  laughs along with the difficulties and challenges we encountered.  What a blessing and inspiration she was...  I will miss her deeply!!  Mary Ellis
