Barbara Jones- Reed was born April 21,1940 to the late Pastor Henry Jones and Ida Jones. Barbara was educated in the Boston Public school system. She accepted Christ at age 15 years old. Baptized in the Apostolic Church. Her Christian experience developed under the leadership of her parents, Pastor henry Jones and Counselor Ida Jones.
Barbara functioned in multiple roles:
Wife, Mother, Professional Nurse, Volunteer for Hospice of Michigan, Ordained Minister and writer.
A faithful and active church member. She served under the leadership of powerful men of God.
Her one desire was to please God. She often said "Let my epitaph read,
IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL"
