A friendship from kindergarten on with another of the Barbaras in our class. It was special. Very special.

I met Barbara as a member of PAVA. Though I didn't know her well, I admired her commitment to the organization and enjoyed her straight-from-the-hip attitude. She was one of a kind!

Extending my deepest condolences to Barbara's family and friends.

I met Barb through her volunteerism at RCS Grace House, where I was the Resource Coordinator.  She and a few other ladies were the 'Hot Dog & Ice Cream' ladies from First Presbyterian Church Dunedin.  What a delightful woman Barb was!  She had a great sense of humor, a sincere love of Giving and I know she will be missed in every aspect of her life that she touched.  God has taken a special person to be forever by his side. I'm grateful to have known her.

She was just such a kind person. Very thoughtful. Grateful that our paths crossed.

I'M MISSING HER PHONE CALLS.  SHE DIDN'T WANT ME TO CALL BECAUSE I USE A LAND LINE AND IT WOULD COST ME.  IF I DID CALL, SHE MADE ME HANG UP AND CALL ME BACK.  CALLS USUALLY LASTED AN HOUR AT THE LEAST.  SHE WAS MY FRIEND FOR 50 YEARS.  SHE HAD A VW THAT WE WOULD LOAD UP BRITTA AND TAKE OFF SHOPPING.  AND IT WASN'T AT WALMART OR K MART.  MOSTLY AT MARSHALL FIELDS.  HAD AN INTERESTING TRIP OUT TO COLORADO WITH HER DAD'S MOTOR HOME.  BROKE DOWN AND MET UP WITH A GROUP  OF OTHER CAMPERS GOING TO THE SAME PLACE THAT KEPT CONTACT WITH US  TO MAKE SURE WE MADE IT.   I DIDN'T KNOW HER AGE BECAUSE SHE WOULDN'T TELL ME OR HER KIDS AGES  EITHER.   JUST KNOW SHE WAS OVER 65 BECAUSE OF MEDICARE.   I KNOW SHE'S UP THERE BECAUSE SHE WAS A LOVING PERSON.   GOOD BYE MY DEAR FRIEND . WE HAD A LOT OF FUN.

Barbara was a much loved student and friend of the Dunedin Fine Art Center. I knew her from my first year at DFAC and I have been there for 18 years.  She was always so much fun and a treat to be around.  Barbara will be very missed.
