Barb wasn’t a regular mother-in-law to me, she was also a good friend to me. Even though we weren’t blood, she made me feel like we were.
When I first met Barb, she welcomed me with a big smile and made me feel so happy. She was so kind and friendly, and she treated me like I was part of her family right away.
Barb was great at being a friend! She laughed a lot, and when she laughed, it made everyone else laugh too. She had an absolutely bright sense of humor. We talked about important things and funny things. Whenever I had a problem, she was there to help me figure it out.
Barb never judged me or told me what to do. She just listened and gave me good advice especially about family. When I became a new mom myself and had initial struggles, she was there to reassure me that everything would be okay.
Seeing Barb go through a long struggle with COPD was very painful. Although we had to say goodbye to Barb, she will live on forever in our hearts. Even though we won’t see her anymore, we’ll always remember the fun times we had and how she made us feel. Her friendship will stay in our hearts forever!!!! RIP Barb!!!!
