Barbara Joan Duncan passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022 surrounded by loved ones in Porterville, California. She was 86 years old. Barbara was born on July 11, 1935 to Pete and Willie Adams in Bakersfield, California. She graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1953 and later married Bill L. Duncan on October 10, 1959 in Las Vegas, NV.  She devoted her life to her children, husband, and grandchildren. Barbara was an avid bowler who was involved with Olive Avenue and Porterville Lanes Bowling leagues. She loved shopping, gardening, and spending time with her family.  Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Pete & Willie Adams; brother Lynn Adams; son, Michael S. Duncan; and husband, Bill L. Duncan. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Lori Duncan; daughter-in-law, Valerie Duncan; grandchildren, Ashley McMillan, Taylor Wilson, Kristi Henry, Michael Duncan, Jr., and Marlee Duncan; and great-granddaughter, Azlyn McMillan.

A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Monday, April 4 at 10:00 AM with a reception to immediately to follow at Don Vinos restaurant. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Associated at www.alz.org.
