Barbara Susan Carlisle, nee Achtzener, of Minneapolis, MN, passed away on April 12, 2024, in Moundsview, MN, at the age of 60.

Barbara was known for her goofy and loving nature, and she had a great love for animals. She enjoyed spending time with her family and seeing her grandchildren. They all adored her fun carefree spirit. Compassionate and caring, she loved deeply with all she had. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Carlisle; daughters Carrie Hartung (Brad) and Alycia Ewing (Zach); grandchildren Jayden, Danika, Harper, Marayla, and Levi; brother Ricky Achtzener; and sister Theresa Achtzener and nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Merrianne Achtzener, father John Achtzener, and her siblings Jeffrey, John and Robin. Along with the fathers of her children John Carlisle and Jeffrey Randolph.
