Barbara Bonenfant, a beloved wife, mother, nana, daughter, sister, and friend passed away on August 21, 2025 peacefully in her home after a long battle against ovarian cancer. Born on May 10, 1952, Barbara led a life filled with warmth, joy, and kindness that was palpable to anyone fortunate enough to have known her.

Best described as genuine, loving, friendly, fun, and thoughtful, Barbara was a beacon of light in the lives of many. She held a firm belief in not judging others and always strived to show kindness, which are the lessons she instilled in her loved ones and those around her. These principles she lived by will remain as an enduring legacy in the hearts of those she touched.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Mark Bonenfant, her daughters, Jaime Pollitt, and Jennifer Pollitt, her son Luke Bonenfant, daughter in law Clara Bonenfant and her five grandsons, Dylan and Daniel Price, Ethan Hogan, and Pierce and Griffin Bonenfant.  We will deeply miss Barbara's presence, but her memories will live on and will continue to inspire all who knew her.

A memorial service to celebrate Barbara's life will be held at Cloyd's Cumberland Presbyterian Church on November 6, 2025, at 1:00 PM. The family invites all those who loved Barbara and were touched by her kindness to join them, to remember a wonderful woman who left us too soon, but whose warm spirit will forever linger in our hearts.
