Barbara's obituary

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Mrs. Barbara Jean Lundy Ball, a beloved woman who wholeheartedly embraced life from her birth on November 24, 1947, to her quiet departure from this world on April 13, 2026.

Barbara was a woman of profound faith and deep conviction. As a testament to her commitment to spiritual growth, her favorite books included the Bible and numerous others focused on religious studies. She found solace and joy in Christian music, often crediting it as her refuge during trying times. Beyond her personal interests, she was a beacon of kindness in her community. Known for her warm heart and compassionate nature, Barbara left a lasting impression on those she encountered.

One of her most notable milestones was her educational journey in Independence, Virginia. Barbara proudly graduated in Virginia and attended college  in Tennessee ,setting a powerful example of determination and resilience for those around her. Her accomplishments reach far beyond academics, as she lived a life filled with love, serenity, and purpose.

Her departure leaves an unfillable void in our lives. The sorrow felt by her family and friends is tempered only by the joy of having had the privilege of knowing her. Mrs. Barbara Ball was a shining light, and she will be greatly missed.

We take comfort in knowing that her legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering faith will live on in the hearts of those she left behind. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
