Barbara Joan Balderree, 85, of Vacaville, California, passed away on March 28, 2022, after a short illness.

Barbara was born on October 10, 1936 to Eugene Julian Hartley and Maude (Dawley) Hartley in San Diego, California.  Barbara was the youngest of two children, along with her brother Richard “Dick” Hartley. Barbara graduated from Herbert Hoover High School, San Diego, California in 1954.

Later that same year, Barbara’s brother introduced her to his best friend, Robert Grant Balderree. She and Bob were married in 1956 in Madrid, Spain, while Bob was serving in the US Airforce. Bob and Barbara were married for 62 years and had 3 children, Greg Balderree, Jeff Balderree and Brenda Alvis.

Barbara was a dedicated wife and mother to all of her children. Family came first and was above all else to Barbara. The hole left by her absence will be impossible to fill.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Robert G. Balderree. She is survived by her children, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grand children.
