Oh! Our amazing mother, grandmother and friend has passed through. Anne was a good storyteller and historian of our lives. She transformed all our lives with her loyalty, strength and kindness. We are saying farewell, though not goodbye for surely our paths will cross again, they must!
Anne joined as many activities as humanly possible while growing up in Kamloops, B.C. Gymnastics, softball, choir, band (played the bass), captain of the Tricksters’ basketball team. One time, when her mother said she couldn't play softball for a crucial game due to garden chores, the whole softball team came over and picked potatoes so she could be at the game. She married John Thomas McEachern in 1956. After he passed in an accident, she married Peter Hudson. Anne and Peter moved to Southern California (1965) and divorced in 1978.
As a businesswoman in 1976, Anne was a pioneer in the burgeoning HOA industry. She was well regarded with much good will and a powerful mentor to women.
Our gratitude goes out to Welcome Home of Concord, CA who lovingly took amazing care of Anne for over a year. Specifically, Thank you: Bernard, Marilog, Glenn, Steve and Kate.
