Mrs. Barbara "Bubbles" White (née Payne), a loving aunt and cherished friend, passed away on March 17, 2023, at the age of 83. Born on April 20, 1939, in Washington D.C., Barbara's infectious laughter and passion for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

As a Grant Specialist, Barbara dedicated her career to supporting various organizations in achieving their mission. She was known for her meticulous attention to detail and her ability to identify funding opportunities that made a difference in the lives of many.

Barbara's hobbies were a reflection of her curious mind and her love for learning. She participated in Bible study sessions, which broadened her understanding of her faith, and her passion for word search puzzles challenged her intellect. Barbara was also a dedicated fan of soap operas and crime shows, which provided her with countless hours of entertainment and lively discussions with friends and family.

Barbara, also known as Bubbles, was a beloved aunt to her niece, Bridgette Palmer, who survives her. The love and bond between Barbara and Bridgette were apparent to all who knew them. They could often be found laughing and enjoying each other's company.

A Viewing for Barbara will be held on April 8, 2023, at 10 AM at W H Bacon Funeral Home Inc. Friends and family are invited to say their final goodbyes and share cherished memories of their time with Barbara. Following the viewing, a Burial for Barbara will take place on April 8, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Fort Lincoln Cemetery. This gathering will serve as a celebration of Barbara's life, and those in attendance are encouraged to share stories and remember the light she brought to the world.
