Barbara's obituary
Barbara was born on 05/04/1942 in Chicago, IL. to Joseph and Stella Prusak. Barbara was the youngest of 12 children and immediately brought joy and laughter into the world.
Around 1965, she met Andrew Sula and the two were inseparable from that point on. Barbara and Andrew were married for 36 years and had three children, Andy, Dawn and Jenny.
Barbara was a stay at home mom for many years so she could be there to raise her children. She was a loving and dedicated mom to all three of her children and a loving wife. She raised all three children with the same family values that she felt were important in life. Family came first and was above all else to Barbara, a value she instilled in all those around her. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.
Barbara was predeceased by her loving husband, Andrew as well as many dear family and friends who have passed away. Barbara is survived by one brother and one sister; her three children Andy , Dawn and Jenny; her three grandchildren Matthew, Megan and Morgan; her two great grandchildren Isaiah and Elijah.
Due to the 2020 pandemic, a traditional wake and funeral were not possible in 2020. Barbara, per her wishes, was cremated and future plans for burial next to her husband will be planned for May 2021. Services will be announced at a later date and will be dependent on the pandemic status but we plan to bury her Mother's Day Weekend.
