Barbara Williams Gillis, 82, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with illness and dementia. Her final days were spent surrounded by her granddaughter and great-grandchildren, whose presence brought her comfort, solace, and the familiarity of the love she gave so freely throughout her life

Memorial events are private

Barbara request no wakes or funeral, as she never likes the idea of talking about someone after death. After much heckling from a very opinionated great-grandchild she gave permission for a Memorial Lunch to be planned for close family and friends. We appreciate everyone's kind thoughts, support and the outpouring of love in the last few weeks as we dealt with this incredible loss. Details for the memorial service have been shared.
