Barbara A. Reed, age 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Dublin Methodist Hospital in Dublin, Ohio, after a long battle with various health issues. She was born on August 26, 1948, in Delaware, Ohio, to Donald and LeVaughn (Ogden) Ward. She was a 1966 graduate of North High School in Columbus and took a few courses at the college level. She worked most of her life in positions that showed off her organizational skills, ridiculously fast typing skills, and her ability to get the job done, correctly, the first time. Barbara loved raising her daughter, Ronda, and allowing her the ability to become a free thinker and gain skills to handle anything in life. Barbara enjoyed spending time with the family when her health would allow it and loved making them items with her crocheting/ knitting skills. Barbara is survived by her Daughter, Ronda (Doug) Jones, Grandchildren, Brianna, Samuel, and Marcala, Step-Granddaughter, Thalia, Sister-In-Law, Sue Ward, Ex-Husband, Ronald Reed, and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and LeVaughn Ward, Brother, Alvin, both sets of grandparents and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Barbara did not want any services after her passing, so there is nothing scheduled.
