Bao-Kim (Nguyen) Miller was born in Kansas City, Missouri on January 20, 1979. Her parents had just bought their first home in the United States and were excited to bring her home to christen it. That home became the backdrop for countless cherished memories. Kim was the fourth of six children, and together, the siblings affectionately became known as “Smart-6.” Kim spent 15 years in Kansas City before relocating to Austin, Texas, where she continued …
