Recently Baba has passed away peacefully in his sleep in California. Known as a father and friend to many. Baba was in Kabul, Afghanistan before he relocated with his son Amir to California. Baba was an inspiration to others in Afghanistan and in America.
Baba was never selfish and always helped others like making an orphanage in Kabul. He also pushed people to be the best version of themselves. Baba was a wise and smart man. He was well respected back in his home of Kabul. Everyone looked up to Baba as a role model.
Baba did not have an easy journey in life. He lost his wife right after she had his first and only son Amir. Baba lived also lived with Ali, his servant he grew up with and his son Hassan who he cared for like a son of his own. He lost these servants who were like family after a misunderstanding, but it was hard for Baba to see them go. He also had to abandon his home of Kabul Afghanistan because he had to escape the dangerous conditions that Kabul was in when the Taliban took over. Baba’s journey to America was difficult due to the danger he would be in if he got caught. He risked everything so that his son Amir could live a better life.
Baba enjoyed watching soccer games and spending time with his friends and family. Baba always said what he had in mind and did not let anyone change his thoughts.
Baba will be deeply missed and never forgotten by his son Amir, his best friend Rahim Khan, and everyone who looked up to him in Kabul.
A ceremony in his memory will take place in the mosque in Hayward tomorrow evening. You are welcome to come and give your condolences. We shall keep Baba deeply in our hearts and memory.
Although Baba is not here anymore his impact will forever stay with us and others.
