Background
Barbara wanted to help scientific research; she also didn't want to burden family with a huge debt for her expenses. So, the the way she chose to manage her remains and final expenses, was with a whole body donation. But, when I contacted the organization she chose, they told me that at this time, they had nothing she qualified for so they had to decline. Unfortunately, that possibility wasn't mentioned when she registered. As a result, we find ourselves unprepared to honor her wish to be cremated with no fuss or frills. To those who feel so moved to help, we thank you and apologize for the oversight.
