Con profunda tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de Azucena Aquino Colón, quien dejó este mundo pacíficamente el 25 de marzo de 2024. Nacida el 27 de noviembre de 1974, Azucena vivió una vida llena de amor, risas y dedicación a su familia y amigos. . Su espíritu radiante, resiliencia y encanto cautivaron a todos los que tuvieron el placer de conocerla.

Azucena fue una querida esposa, madre y amiga. Le sobreviven su amado esposo, Cenobio Estefes, y hijos, Michelle, Nancy, Carlos y Brian Aquino. Azucena falleció después que su hija, Jenny Aquino, quien creemos que la saludó en el cielo con el mismo abrazo de bienvenida por el que Azucena era conocida en la tierra.

La vida de Azucena estuvo llena de muchos logros notables; sin embargo, destaca traer a su madre a los Estados Unidos después de una separación de más de dos décadas. Era una encarnación de su espíritu resiliente que también brillaba a través de su personalidad amorosa, trabajadora, divertida, astuta, generosa, humilde, inteligente, leal y cariñosa.

El legado de Azucena no está sólo en sus logros, sino en la forma en que vivió su vida. Combinó una ética de trabajo feroz con un espíritu gentil de generosidad. Ella siempre fue la primera en ofrecer ayuda y la última en pedirla. Su lealtad era incuestionable, su inteligencia sencilla y todos sentían su naturaleza cariñosa.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of  Azucena Aquino Colon, who left this world peacefully on March 25, 2024. Born on November 27, 1974, Azucena lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to her family and friends. Her radiant spirit, resilience, and charm captivated everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Azucena was a cherished wife, mother, and friend. She is survived by her loving husband, Cenobio Estefes, and her children, Michelle, Nancy, Carlos, and Brian Aquino. Azucena was predeceased by their daughter, Jenny Aquino, whom we believe greeted her in heaven with the same welcoming embrace Azucena was known for on earth.

Azucena's life was filled with many remarkable accomplishments; however, bringing her mother to the United States after a separation of over two decades stands out. It was an embodiment of her resilient spirit which also shone through her loving, hardworking, funny, crafty, generous, humble, intelligent, loyal, and nurturing personality.

Azucena's legacy is not just in her accomplishments, but in the way she lived her life. She combined a fierce work ethic with a gentle spirit of generosity. She was always the first to offer help and the last to ask for it. Her loyalty was unquestionable, her intelligence unassuming and her nurturing nature was felt by all.

Azucena's life was a testament to the power of love, hard work, and determination. Her memory will forever be cherished by her loved ones. She touched the lives of everyone she met, leaving a lasting impact that will continue to inspire for years to come. Azucena's love, laughter, and legacy will live within us, reminding us to live with purpose, kindness, and humility every day.
