It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Avonell "Abby" Cline, a pillar of strength and fortitude for her family, who departed this life on July 28, 2024. Born on July 22, 1952, Avonell was widely known as Abby, but she cherished her given name.

Smart, educated and deeply involved in her family, Avonell was a remarkable woman whose greatest achievements shone brightly in her roles as a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. The void she leaves in the hearts of her loved ones is profound, yet they take solace in knowing they will be reunited through Christ.

Avonell was predeceased by her parents, Frank Goff and Avonell Goff Willis, her siblings Dan Goff, Donna Goff, Stanley Goff, Patricia Younger, and her daughter, Vicky Goff. In their memory, she carried on the family legacy with admirable strength.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Loretta and Christopher Gaudern (son in law) and her son, Christopher Goff. Avonell was a cherished grandmother to Eric Gaudern, Daron Gaudern, Mathew Gaudern, Breanna Gaudern, and Guy Gaudern. She also leaves behind her great grand daughter  Elise Gaudern, who will continue to honor Avonell's legacy.

In 1983, Avonell started working as a Certified Nurses Aid, a profession she chose out of her innate desire to care for others. Her lessons of strength and fortitude were the bedrock of her career as much as they were for her family life.

Avonell's light may have dimmed in this life, but her spirit continues to illuminate the lives of those she touched. Though we mourn her loss, we celebrate her life, her love, and her indomitable spirit.
