Avis Green, aged 91, passed away peacefully at home on February 6, 2026. Born in Chicago, Illinois on April 5, 1934, to Marian Brown and William Holman, Avis was a cherished member of the community and a beacon of strength and compassion throughout her life.
Avis was preceded in death by her husband Earl Green, her mother Marian Brown, her father William Holman, her sisters Maureen and Marta Jean, her brothers Vincent and Richard Clemmons …
