Ave Alex "Al" Hood, 59, of Independence, MO, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital on the Plaza.

Flower Remembrance Ceremony will be will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, in Gladstone, MO.

On the following date, December 8th is the Celebration of Life with a Balloon and Lantern Release, in Gladstone, MO.

Al was born to parents, the late Gloria Hood and Glenn Hood in Sandersville, GA. He was preceded in death by both parents and younger sister, Sonya Hood.

His memories will be forever cherished by children, Tiffany Hood, Quintin (Tori) Hood, Kanishia Hood, and Oceana Martin; four granddaughters; and the Taylor, Hall, and Jordan Families.

Meyers Funeral Chapel of Parkville, MO, are handling the arrangements.
