Avan had a systemic lymphoma that claimed his life after a 2 year struggle. He was a happy man that loved life, music, and animals. Even in his final hours he was more concerned about me and our dog than himself. I have truly lost the great love of my life. No one should have to go through what we went through, and fortunately we had the money to pay for his care. During his battle I would routinely make anonymous donations to the American cancer society. Every little bit helps. Contribute to American Cancer Society

Avan didn’t want a service, because he used to say he didn’t want a bunch of people standing around in all black crying. So remember him in your own way I suppose. Light a candle, donate to a worthy cause, or just be grateful. He is truly in a better place now and no longer suffering or in pain.
