Michael Rice
1985, IBT's Bar + Food, North 4th Avenue, Tucson, Arizona, USA

I first met Austin thru a mutual friend at work and we became the best of friends since 1985. We lost touch with each other for two or three years but reconnected and were able to share time together before his passing. Of course this always at our favorite club in town. IBT’S on 4th Avenue. The times changed quite a bit from the mid 80’s until 2025, but our friendship will last forever. I miss you Austin!!  Love ya buddy!!  You asked me to never forget you. I can seriously say that would be an impossibility!!

Love your best friend,

Michael Rice

Hi Cherry,

First of all, I'm incredibly sorry for your loss. At Ever Loved, we want to be here for you to help you commemorate and celebrate the impact Austin's life had in the least stressful way possible. Here are a few ways we can support you during this difficult time:

Bring people together, easily and quickly. Austin's memorial website is the easiest way to communicate information about him to friends and family. You can add funeral details, let people know if there are ways they can support you, provide other updates, and even livestream the funeral right on the site. Just share the link and ask others to reshare: https://everloved.com/life-of…

Save thousands of dollars on funeral costs. Funerals can get very expensive, but there are easy ways to save if you know how. Ever Loved lets you compare price lists for local funeral homes and has a funeral marketplace where you can buy caskets, urns and more for about 50% off of what you'd pay through a funeral home.

Have a place to remember Austin for years to come. As people move around and burial becomes less common, it's not always easy to visit a gravesite. Austin's memorial website can be a place to visit him virtually any time you'd like, and ensure that his memory is kept alive for generations to come. Share an obituary, collect memories from others, build a timeline of his life, and create a log of his favorite things.

If there's anything we can help you with, don't hesitate to reply to this email.

P.S. If you haven't already, we recommend trying our post-death checklist. It can help you navigate the 50+ tasks that have to be handled after someone passes. View checklist >>

From: The Thomas Family, Mother, siblings, friends. Please share this obituary of my son  Austin who passed away on July 3, 2025.

We request you write a little something about Austin. Something that perhaps will remind us how he was worthwhile person.

If you have a short story, or a memory that you would like for his family and friends to know, I think he would want you to say something about him.

Everyone he knew are being missed by Austin. He loved everyone and easily made friends.

Tell us about it. Or just leave your name  under the comments section.

I too have a short story of Austin that you would all enjoyed. He left a list of names that he wanted the family to mention.  To these people out there, Austin says, “I love you all and won’t forget you.”

Please be patient with me while I gather some personal letters, notes, and names to include on here.

I want everyone to know he is happy and is no longer feeling any pain. This was his wish.  Thank you for your sincere thoughts in advance.  - The Thomas Family.
