Austin David Platina died prior to his birth on August 22, 2021 at a Sacramento, CA hospital. Austin was the infant son of Gino and Whitney (Roeder) Platina of West Sacramento. Whitney is a former Temple, TX resident.

Austin David is survived by his parents and brother, Joseph James Platina, age 8, also of West Sacramento, and grandparents, Joseph and Gloria Platina of West Sacramento CA, Marshall and Pat Wilkinson-Powell of Belton TX, and Steve and Beverley Roeder of Temple TX, as well as numerous family members in California and Texas.

Pastor Mark Carlson of Capital Christian Center will officiate the private memorial service, and Chelsea Stern of Temple TX, sister of Whitney Platina, will lead the family in selected hymns and songs to honor our angel baby’s short life.

Austin David Platina will be laid to eternal rest in a private gathering on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Sacramento. In lieu of flowers the family would be grateful for any donations made to Austin’s memorial website by clicking on the "GIVE" tab above.
